MOVE.

CONNECT.

EXPRESS.

Come back to your body. Come back to yourself.

WHAT IF YOU COULD ACCESS MORE OF YOURSELF?

SMP Method is an embodied practice exploring movement, presence, emotional intelligence, connection, and authentic expression.

Created by Sarah Marie Picard, the method grew from more than a decade of work with performing artists — and a growing realization that the tools we use to become more connected performers are really tools for becoming more connected humans.

You don't have to be a dancer. You just have to be willing to show up.

Led by artistic director, Ms. Sarah Marie Picard.

Artist, educator, choreographer, and creator of SMP Method, Sarah Marie Picard has spent more than a decade exploring the intersection of movement, emotional intelligence, storytelling, and authentic expression.

Her work began in the performing arts, where her career as a dancer and choreographer has included appearances on ABC’s Once Upon a Time and FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance, international performance work, and teaching and choreography at leading dance institutions across the country.

Through years of working with performers, Sarah became increasingly interested in what exists beneath performance: our ability to be present, connect deeply, move beyond the barriers that hold us back, and access more of ourselves.

That exploration became the foundation for SMP Method — expanding the tools she developed with artists into spaces for movement, connection, creativity, and human expression.
